Comments for Sean and Prathik

1-- Write about something well done.  What did you learn from this group?  What part of the Presentation seemed the best?

2-- Offer constructive criticism that would help this group.  What might have been more clear?  What part of the Presentation seemed the least polished?  Where did you want more clarity or development? What did this group miss? Etc.

The best and most thoughtful comments will likely include information, observations, quotes, statistics, connections, questions. . . or other material from your active listening notes.

  1. I think you did a well job with touching upon Galileo's other achievements through physics. Maybe putting pictures of his telescope and talking more about how the telescope came to be and why.

  2. 1. Your tone was really good throughout the presentation and I really enjoyed the historical facts and extra details that you gave like with his theories, the church's control, and the inquisition. This made it really entertaining and fun to listen to.

    2. If there was anything to possibly improve on it would be to maybe show and describe a few more diagrams on his theories and inventions.

2: I would have added more info on how he dealt with the church and survived against them.

  6. 1. Your presentation was really interesting and I feel like I learned more about Galileo and what he's contributed to society.

    2. One thing that could've improved the presentation would be narrowing down the broader subjects which could've shortened the presentation a little bit. Good job!

  9. 1. I liked how you presented more information about Galileo than just things about the telescope.

    2. I would have liked a few more visuals to help describe some of his achievements or theories. I see how this would be hard due to how old the topic is.

  11. I really liked how you guys talked about more than just what he did in astronomy, since that’s what most know him for.

I think you guys could’ve tried to condense your presentation down just a bit for time purposes.

  12. I liked that you had a broad range of his contributions to the world other than the more commonly known theories and objects.

Having more visuals would've been helpful but not necessary.

  13. 1. The presentation gave a good overview of his life and contributions- going beyond his work with just improving the spyglass.
    2. The presentation was smooth until the ending, where it seemed you stumbled a bit with the conclusion.
