Feedback for Camryn and Nick: JFK Assassination

u1-- Write about something well done.  What did you learn from this group?  What part of the Presentation seemed the best?

2-- Offer constructive criticism that would help this group.  What might have been more clear?  What part of the Presentation seemed the least polished?  Where did you want more clarity or development? What did this group miss? Etc.

The best and most thoughtful comments will likely include information, observations, quotes, statistics, connections, questions. . . or other material from your active listening notes.

  1. 1. I really liked this presentation, it was engaging, fun to listen to, had great visuals, neat facts, and you guys seemed obviously knowledgeable on the topic too.

    2. Although this is probably more of an opinion since I really enjoyed your presentation, it would have been kind of cool to hear a little bit more about Jackie in the actual presentation and how JFK's assassination affected her.

  2. 1. I really liked how you covered many sides of the JFK assassination, not just about what happened on the day he died.

    2. One thing that I wish you would have added was having the quotes be up on the board for us to look at while you read them.

  3. 1.I really like Camryn and Nick included pictures in their presentation and then explained the meaning and history behind each picture. I thought their presentation was really unique and different compared to other presentations I've seen.

    2. I think one thing that could've added a little bit more to the presentation was if there was more information on Jackie and her life after her husband's death.

  4. 1. The information about his early and family life were very informative. I also found the theories very interesting.

    2. I thought the presentation was overall very good, but I would have talked about the more controversial things that surround the topic.

  5. 1.The way you two tackled this project was great, I really liked how you each took a different side of the presentation to talk about.
2.I personally think the conspiracy theories could have been tied to how he is iconic, however great job.

  6. 1. I thought you guys did a good job with providing lots of facts. I also liked that you went and talked about the conspiracy's about his death to give more viewpoints on the topic.
    2. I wish that you would of gone more in depth about the motives surrounding why Oswald wanted to kill him since the only things we heard about JFK was how great he was and that everyone like him.

  7. 1. I like that you gave quotes in the presentation. I also thought it was cool you included some conspiracy theories.
    2. I was wondering is there could have been more information on him and his childhood. You said that after his brother died the weight was then on him by his father. What was his relationship like with his father?

  8. 1 it was a great presentation that was very informative for the time that you had on this huge topic, the use of the slides only for pictures so we didn't focus on them as much as you was a great idea
    2. Mabye adding some famous quotes and putting them up on the slides would be good and trying not to read off he paper as much

  9. 1 i liked the way tou told the jfk story in chronological order, form when he was younger to when he was older.
2 I would add more words and quotes to your slides for people to look at and observe.

  10. I think your presentation was really engaging and informative because we weren't forced to look back and forth between the slides and you.

I think more information on Oswald's motive and maybe just some facts about him would've been interesting.

  11. One of my favorite subjects up their and I thought how you guys spoke and addressed the audience was fantastic, the body language was on point.

I also agree maybe on if we had a little more backround of oswalds life and how it led him to this point

  12. I really liked the way you guys explained everything so simply even though there was a lot to cover. Now I have more insight about the assassination.

The thing that I thought was missing was maybe adding more of his quotes.

  13. 1. I loved your guys' linear way of presenting.
    2. I would have liked to have heard some more conspiracy theories.

  14. 1- The presentation was very well put together. I am not very educated on the assassination of JFK or JFK in general and I feel more informed about him now. For example, I did not know he served in WWII.

2- I feel that maybe you two could have explained which conspiracy theory was more popular to society. Also maybe more pictures added to the slides instead of one big picture.

  15. 1. The JFK Assassination is a huge topic, but you guys took on many different perspectives, were clearly educated about the topic, and covered a lot of information.

    2. Adding the quotes or a little bit of text to the slides would have helped me, from an audience member perspective.
